We began by looking at skin differently.

Why should changing skin have to fit a fixed label?
Some days skin needs hydration. Some days it needs recovery. Sometimes it feels balanced; sometimes it doesn’t. We kept coming back to one simple observation: skin changes, but skincare often asks us to choose one type.
S:19 began with a different way of looking at that.
Monica Ravilla and Sindhura Narla brought two different perspectives to the same problem — pharmacy and business, formulation and everyday behaviour. What connected them was the belief that skincare could be more responsive to what skin actually needs.
So they built S:19 around phases rather than fixed types - with each formulation created for a specific skin phase.

So we don’t build skincare around a fixed skin type. We formulate around four phases - Thirst, Recovery, Oil Imbalance and Uneven Tone - each with a different set of needs.
